CS2 Towers organizes its provably fair grid into distinct rows rather than one flat board — you climb one row at a time, with a difficulty setting controlling how many of each row's tiles are bombs.
1. Set your bet amount and choose a difficulty level (commonly Easy/Medium/Hard, sometimes up to five tiers). 2. Pick one tile on the current row. 3. A safe tile advances you to the next row and grows your multiplier. 4. Cash out at any point to lock in your current winnings, or keep climbing. 5. A bomb tile ends the round immediately — you lose your stake for that round.
Unlike Mines' numeric mine count, Towers typically exposes named difficulty tiers. CSGOLuck publishes Easy (66% safe), Medium (50% safe) and Hard (33% safe) per row; Roobet and Rollbit extend this to five tiers up to Crazy/Nightmare. Higher difficulty means fewer safe tiles per row and a bigger multiplier per successful pick, exactly mirroring mine count on Mines.
Most CS2/crypto Towers sites run roughly a 1-3% house edge, baked into the per-row multiplier growth rather than charged as a visible fee. Duelbits specifically publishes a 98-99% RTP range for its Towers Original. The edge applies consistently regardless of which difficulty tier you choose.
Before your first pick, the platform commits to a server seed (via a published hash) that locks in every row's bomb layout in advance, combined with your client seed. After the round ends, the full seed is revealed so you can independently recompute the layout and confirm nothing was altered after your bet was placed. 500Casino uses an especially thorough four-part seed system for this.

Difficulty level doesn't change your long-run house edge, but — exactly like mine count on Mines — it changes how fast variance can move your session balance in either direction.
Easy difficulty, small flat bet size relative to balance. Frequent successful climbs keep the session running longer without needing a rare high-multiplier outcome to stay afloat.
Medium difficulty with a cash-out target set before you start (e.g. row 3-4). Balances hit frequency against multiplier size for a session that neither drains nor stalls too fast.
Hard/Expert/Crazy tiers only make sense with a bankroll sized to absorb many consecutive early-round losses. Each round is fully independent — no losing streak makes the next climb more likely to succeed.
