HiLo's house edge doesn't sit in one place the way it does on Dice — it's recalculated for every single card, since the true odds of "higher" vs "lower" change with each card removed from the deck. A fair payout multiplier would exactly match the true probability for that specific card; the house edge is the small gap sites build in below that fair number, typically shaving 1-4% off depending on the platform. Duelbits' 99% RTP and Chips.gg's confirmed 1% edge represent the tightest gaps we found; Stake.com and BC.Game's 96-98% range still sit well below most slot machines. Because the edge is applied per-card rather than as one flat number, it's harder to compare sites on this metric alone — the published RTP figure is the most reliable comparison point.
CS2 HiLo runs on a standard deck of cards rather than a grid or roll. Every prediction is a fresh comparison against whatever card is currently showing, which is what makes its odds genuinely different from the flat-risk-dial games covered elsewhere on this site.

A standard deck has 13 ranks. If the current card is low, most remaining cards outrank it, making "Higher" likely but low-paying and "Lower" a rare, high-paying long shot. A high current card flips this. Only a card near the middle of the rank order gives close to 50/50 odds either way — this is a genuinely different math shape from Mines' fixed mine-count or Dice's fixed win-chance slider.
Most CS2/crypto HiLo sites run roughly a 1-4% house edge, applied as a small shave on the "fair" multiplier for each specific card's true odds rather than one flat number. Duelbits (99% RTP) and Chips.gg (1% house edge) publish the tightest figures found on this list.
Before the round starts, the platform commits to a server seed (via a published hash) that determines the full shuffled deck order in advance, combined with your client seed. After the round ends, the full seed is revealed so you can independently recompute the card sequence and confirm nothing was altered after your bet was placed.

In every case, the payout multiplier is calibrated to the actual odds shown — a near-certain bet pays little, a rare bet pays a lot, and the house edge sits as a small consistent shave underneath the fair number regardless of which card is showing.
HiLo shares the sequential, cash-out-anytime structure of Mines and Towers, but its odds move dynamically rather than sitting on a risk dial you set once:
