All three risk levels carry the same long-run house edge — the difference is entirely in variance and session "feel."
Most platforms let you choose 8 to 16 rows. More rows create more possible landing paths, which widens the multiplier range and raises the maximum possible multiplier — but also lowers the probability of landing on any specific slot, including the big ones. Fewer rows (8) give a tighter, more predictable distribution. 16 rows unlocks the highest ceiling multipliers (up to 1000x on most platforms) but those outcomes are correspondingly rarer.
Before each drop, a server seed + client seed hash determines the exact path the ball will take through the pegs. This hash is published before you confirm your bet. After the drop, the server seed is revealed and you can verify the path and final multiplier were predetermined — confirming the platform couldn't manipulate the outcome after seeing your stake. High risk requires accepting that most drops land near 0x — you need a bankroll deep enough to survive 15-20+ near-total losses while chasing a rare big multiplier.
